The First Research

When creating my website I thought that I should research my topic just to get the jist. What I found with 20 minutes of research was that many of the "headline" alternative energy resources, wind or solar, are very unreliable. I had always thought that wind and solar power were able to single-handedly save the world, but that is not the case at all. Wind turbines kill an alarming amount of endangered birds, take up large amounts of space, and don't consistently create energy. Solar farms need so much space to run effectively and the relocation of native plants and animals of the desired area can lead to the endangerment of those species. What I found is that nuclear energy can run 100% of the time and with much less of these nuclear plants than wind and solar farms they create much more energy. I really want to research nuclear energy more this year because the superficial research I have done so far shows promising information.
